About Roosevelt
Two rooms. One mission.
For more than twenty years, Roosevelt Moss has lived between the pulpit and the creative studio — leading people, building brands and helping good messages reach more people.

My story
In my own words
I’ve always been a storyteller. Whether I’m preaching on a Sunday, writing copy for a client or recording an episode of the podcast, the work is the same: take a message that matters and help it land with the people who need it.
I planted Metro Church of Christ here in Charlotte, and leading a congregation from the ground up taught me what it really takes to build something…vision, yes, but also the unglamorous work of systems, finances and showing up week after week.
At the same time, I built a career in communications. Through Reach More Media, I help businesses, churches, nonprofits and mission-driven brands tell better stories and show up online in a way that sounds human, not corporate.
On paper, it was the best year of my life. I’d just gotten a promotion, the side business was growing, the church was thriving, and the family vacations were stacking up. It looked like I had it all figured out. But on the inside, it felt like everything was built on a house of cards. I threw myself into hobbies, into fitness, into buying things, anything to fill a space that wouldn’t stay filled. Everybody around me was good, but me. I was holding it together, but I knew it could crash any second. Then one Thursday afternoon, in the middle of a presentation, my laptop froze. I clicked and nothing happened. Opened, froze, closed. Opened, froze, closed. This is not working. And the more I said it, the more I realized I wasn’t just talking about the computer. All I wanted to do in that moment was quit, disappear, leave. I wanted to shut it all down. What I didn’t know yet was that I didn’t need to shut down. I needed to reset.
Today, everything I do points the same direction: helping leaders reset, tell better stories and reach more people.
